The model 444 boots are made in Tokyo, by a factory that specializes in the production of work boots, and finished with a 270 degree Goodyear flat welt \u0026amp; heavy duty upper stitching.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt's made from an extremely handsome vegetable-tanned horsehide leather with a rich warm brown finish and subtle tonal variation throughout. Over time, this leather will darken slightly in tone, developing a gentle patina as it takes in light and moisture from the environment.
